The Hong Kong Committee on Children’s rights (HKCCR) was formed in 1992, originating from a concerned group about children being left unattended. We registered as an independent non-governmental organization with charitable status in 1995. Membership of the Committee is made up of a wide range of professionals interested in the rights of children. We concern about the needs of children, and their rights to survival, protection, development and participation, which are the 4 main areas of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).
